José Raúl Aveiro Lamas (18 July 1936 – October 2024)[2] was a Paraguayan former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was selected in Paraguay’s squad for the 1958 FIFA World Cup, but didn’t play any game.[3]

Club career

Born in Asunción, Aveiro played for Sportivo Luqueño, Valencia, Valencia Mestalla, Elche, Ontinyent and Constància.[1][4][5]

International career

Aveiro got his first cap for Paraguay during a friendly game against Brazil on 4 May 1958.[6]
